THEY GET TO PLAY ON AN ACTUAL BEACH IN BRIXTON

I wanted to be involved in something I was passionate about and the music industry gives me the opportunity to be creative – no event is ever the same! London is the leading hub for electronic music and we are surrounded by like-minded people who can connect through their experiences of music.

What I like about Brixton is that it’s not very hipster – our crowd is very friendly. You don’t get a lot of dicks there and because it’s an 80s theme everyone gets really involved in it with people turning up with mullets and Hawaiian shirts.

What we provide for DJs is they get to play a fun set. Aeroplane came and played a funk and boogie set, Artwork played a totally 80s set and Craig Charles played his funk and soul set. Other places in the area might be a bit more serious but they get to play on an actual beach in Brixton, which is completely jokes. The DJs have fun and the crowd enjoys it. Everyone loves 80s Miami.
